This says it all...

So many times I’ve questioned certain circumstances
Or things I could not understand
Many times in trials, weakness blurs my vision
And my frustration gets so out of hand
It’s then I am reminded I've never been forsaken
I've never had to stand the test alone
As I look at all the victories
The spirit rises up in me
And its through the fire my weakness is made strong


He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time

And the adversary says give in

I know within myself that I would surely perish

Thoughts of today...

Hey Lord can you spare a minute
A storm is passing thru and I'm caught right in it
Not hurt bad lord not critical yet
But Lord as you know in a storm your bound to get wet
So Lord help me hold a post or get under a rock
Cause Lord as you know where theres alot
of lighting There s danger of shock
So Lord I may look rough when the storm is past
When the wind stops blowing and the sun shines at last
I may need a bath or even a new hair do
But Lord by tomorrow I may look brand new

so this morning getting ready for work when tyler realizes that our toilet is messed up. yeap no water what so ever going in to it... hope that is easy to fix!! and not pricey!! ohhh did I mention we had to fix the floor at the back door and get a new door when we did the floors with hardwoods,.... yea its been never ending... so I will be shopping for a fridge today!!

When it rains it....

POURS!!! So we have been having fun updating our house with GORGEOUS hardwood floors!! From One On One Flooring in Hazel Green! They are great! So excited about all this and guess what happens.... yea my washer will only work on 1 setting now.... great! so this weekend I go to sears to pick out a new washer and realize oh yea we are limited to how big it can be because of the utility room being so small...then pick one and guess what its not in stock but will be here in 2 weeks. Yea you should have seen the Sears guy when I said " Say what??? I need it today..." lol so get home and wash clothes at Gayles thankfully I live right beside my GREAT mother- in-law and can wash clothes there until i get the new one!! and yesterday realize that my FRIDGE is not really freezing.... oh great!! so it some how was turned to a warm setting when the storms happened and thought i had turned it up to much so we are trying to find the right setting to freeze in the freezer but not freeze the fridge part...lol what fun I hope it works now!!! So these applainces we have had for going on 7 years and they were Bro David Jones mothers before that sooo I really don't know how old they are... We bought them when we got married and rented her house off Lee High Drive. So you know they have served their purpose but I just wished they weren't going out ALL at the same time!!! Just our luck I guess!!

Don't know where to start....

The above pictures are of Easter weekend. The top 2 at my grandmothers down the road from my parents house. The 3rd is from my moms backyard of the kids playing together... I didn't know that weekend that this was the last time I would see this place like this... These areas are now different....

#4 &5 are at my grandmothers this is where 2 weeks ago we hunted eggs... the last are were a couple of weeks ago the kids played for hours!! of course the pictures I have are not from right after it happened this is after the areas have been cleaned up on for over a week... Cassie will probably post the right after the storm pictures once she can...

After the storm

ok so i have finally made it back to work yesterday. got power finally yesterday and today work has power!! its been a crazy week.. We are safe and no damage but all around our neighborhood there is damage!!! Here a couple of pics that cassie finally was able to send me of mom and dads. they have some damage to the house but nothing major.... however literally no standing trees!!!! looks like a war zone is what mom keeps telling me. I haven't been able to get up there but will be there this weekend. SO will take more pics. If you have ever been to my house you know what it looked like and now see these!!
