Fall Questions...

1. Do you like Starbucks? And are you a fan of their seasonal coffees?
hmm I don't know its REALLY strong! lol I have tried a couple of times but I am a more flavored coffee type girl.. Haven't ever tried their seasonal coffee

2. How do you decorate and prepare for Fall? Not normally don't take the time or money! lol but I have bought a couple of things for inside the house

3. Will you participate in your college's homecoming activities? lol probably not...

4. What is your favorite Fall clothing item or accessory? hmm i love my new cowgirl boots!!

5. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid? hmm what Halloween costume??? we didn't get to celebrate it! i think i went trick or treat like 1 time and I was 16! lol I want to dress up with Jas so bad this year!! lol I LOVE candy!

6. Do you like Halloween/Horror movies? Do you have a favorite? I used to could handle them really good. I am NOT like Cassie!! lol but ever since having Jasmyn they really bother me.. SAW movies are a NOOO What kind of person can think of that stuff??? i mean really people they are very sick!!!

7. What is your favorite Fall activity? I also love haunted houses!! even though I scream the ENTIRE time! lol but if your in my group you will have fun because I am always getting stolen from the pack and scared! Last year we went some where and from the first room I was screaming. the grabbed me from the group threw me on a bed and had a chain saw on my legs!!! then I remember in another JASON was trying to kill me... lol that was a fun night felt young again!!

8. What is your favorite Fall recipe? I LOVE pumpkin pie!!! and grandmothers sweet potato casserole!

Wet, curvy, and hilly roads aren't a good mix! and put me in a rush in the middle!

ok so I am going to make a testimony! lol I got to tell what happened to me this weekend because I don't know how I made it thru it (Well the Lord of course) Anyways Saturday I decided at last minute since I knew Tyler was just going to be watching the game that I (who doesn't really care to watch the AL game ) decide I wasn't sitting at home and would take Jas to a friends birthday party. Well this was 1:30 and the party started @ 2!! k so we get ready and head out the door. Well it had been raining and the roads were really wet. I had to go to Dug Hill and for those that know this road know that wet roads, curvy and hilly don't make a good mix...and me in a rush! So anyways we are riding thru and I get to the last hill that also as you top goes into a slight curve....hmmm I forgot about that hill and curve. As I topped the hill (and yes I don't remember how fast I was going and my guess is TOO fast) I felt the sorento sliding towards the left lane WELL to make it worse there was a HUGE expedition type SUV coming the other way. so I just try to pull to the right and thats when it got worse now Im sliding to the drop off the car will not straighten! and its all happening so quick I hit the brakes and i can feel the tires just skidding because the road are so wet they can't grip enough. I remember looking straight at the car and I knew we were going to hit. then all of the sudden the my car jerks and straightens into my lane the right lane... once the we pasted the other car all I could say was "Thank you Lord" tears started flowing down my face and the reality of what just about happened sunk in.. Then I remembered Jasmyn was in the back and when I asked her if she was ok her face was scared and eyes wide.. " that scared me moma" " that scared me too" soo Thankful that God watches over us whenever something happens so quick that we can't think and he shows that he does have control over everything. I don't remember jerking the wheel again after we started sliding again towards the other car so how my suv straightened was by the Lords hand.. Just thankful to be here this morning and that my family is healthy..

Oh yes on a different note...ok so this morning my alarm went off.. don't know why because I don't use the alarm on the clock beside the bed I use my cell phone alarm. Anyways when it did it turned on the cd which happened to be New Harmony Jasmyn was practicing yesterday for her solo lol(Cassie you better watch out)lol.. well Jasmyn is asleep in my bed and I am getting ready and I hear her singing " Your the One" well I look because I thought well she is awake now.. NOPE the kid was singing in her sleep!! lol trust me I tried talking to her because I thought she was playing a joke on me! NOPE and that was the only song she tried to sing with! lol I thought it was so funny..

Fun Monday

ok soooo Tyler decided a few weeks ago it was time to teach Jasmyn how to dial 911. Because some where a 3 year old saved their mom's life my calling 911. So I was like ok I had already been teaching her our address but wasn't ready to teach the dialing.... any ways she has learned on our CELL phones which she knows you have to push the GREEN button to actually call them. When she showed me the first time that she could dial it she said (in her serious voice) " We can't play with it moma no no (while shaking her head no and waving her arm) "its only for merchencies,, (thats how she says emergencies, I am trying to paint the picture here!) anyways so we have done this for weeks, letting her practice on the cell and making her repeat the address to us.

WELLLL, on Monday she was at Gayle's house and the phone rang ( why they even have a house phone i don't know because they NEVER answer it) Gayle of course didn't answer and in a couple of minutes Jasmyn tells her that she called..... YEAP you guessed it!!!! 911 but its ok because she didn't talk to anyone...lol then the banging on Gayle's door begins!! yeap again 2 cops! lol as soon as Jasmyn sees that it is cops she immediately begins crying because she knows she is in trouble...lol poor kid doesn't understand a landline doesn't have the GREEN button!! lol The cops were nice and explained to Jas that they do come when you call but it's not to be played with and only for emergencies... lol Jasmyn begged Gayle not to tell anyone!!! lol little kid already trying to hide stuff!!!! of course Gayle thought it was hilarious after the fact and told us...

So when I get home from work and while I am cooking dinner... I ask Jas how her day was.. " good I played at Gigi's" not a peep... " oh did you ride your bike?" " yeap" still not even a crack," Did you call anyone?" then the fear in the eyes hit... she quickly looked at Tyler in that help me dad face! lol I wasn't going to get on to her because I felt she learned the lesson but I just wanted to see her DRAMA QUEEN ACTIONS!! lol she then quietly tells me " I called the cops" her eyes are HUGE!! so then she goes into this BIG story of what happened it was so funny...

Today I am with Drea.. thats exactly where my mind is. JUST THANKFUL.

Sometimes when things go wrong in life the Devil loves to remind you of EVERYTHING that is going wrong or that could be better. Thats when I have to stop and say but look what is going good. Some things you just can't change, what's done is done and that's that. Those aren't words of comfort I know but the truth and sometimes you have to face it that life just stinks at times. This year it seems that it has been one thing after another going wrong but guess what... I still have my healthy child and husband, my house, a car, a job and most of all I have God. My heart has been broken countless times in the past few months but the Lord has helped me cope and kept my soul.. but I guess most of all I CHOOSE to fight the battle and climb that mountain not matter the warfare.

I keep going back to this song in my mind Born to Climb I love this song, its words are truly helping me through some trials I never thought I would be faced with.

Friday night New Harmony (my absolute FAVORITE) lol anyways they sung this song and did an AWESOME job! honestly was something I really needed to hear right now. Its amazing how songs can lift your mind. I am very proud of New Harmony. Not just because my sister sings with them.. I have known the group since I was 13 years old and before I had the HG (some members I have known longer). Was really impressed of the talent and the feeling that follows them. They all have an AMAZING talent in what they do. They use it for the Lord I know.

Thru the Fire has to be my ALL time FAV! Everytime I hear it I get chills and remember ALL the trials that the Lord has brought me through and how much really listening and singing that song helped keep my mind on track. This ship was made to Sail was another when Kim and Brooke sung with NH.(I still love it today) I would try to sing like them lol that was hilarious because I can not sing like my big sis CASSIE!! I am proud of her too of course, they all could be professional with their talent but they decide to sing for HIS PRAISE..

They and their family sacrifice alot, they work their normal day jobs, have a family, and still get out on Friday nights when sometimes you know they probably had a bad day and want to go home and rest. But they love the Lord and make a sacrifice to do what they love and in hope that some how they touch someone that may be down, someone climbing that last hill, or seeking the holyghost. I just wanted to say this because I need to give them their ROSES will they are here alive. They have touched my heart ever since I meet them on an October night at HSV fall revival. 11 years ago...Thanks New Harmony (and all the family members) for everything you do....
